Privacy Policy

1. Scope and responsible entity

This Policy applies to information processed through the Service. KUO CHIAO TRADING CO., LTD. is responsible for that processing. It does not apply to independent websites, market-data sources or services that may be linked from the Service and publish their own privacy notices.

EORMCEXC is a learning and simulated-trading product. It does not open brokerage accounts, hold assets, accept deposits, process withdrawals or execute real trades. We therefore do not request bank-account, payment-card or government-issued identity information for those purposes.

2. Information we collect or process

The information handled depends on how you use the Service:

• Account and authentication information: email address, internal user identifier, account status, account creation time, securely hashed password and hashed or time-limited authentication-token records.
• Preferences: language, haptic setting, order-confirmation setting, preferred order type, selected maximum practice leverage, market favorites and message read status.
• Simulation activity: demo-credit balances and grants, simulated holdings, orders, positions, prices used for exercises, practice profit or loss, account resets and related activity history.
• Learning activity: lesson completion, quiz answers, scores and attempt times.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, request time, requested endpoint, browser or app request metadata, response status and security or diagnostic events generated when the Service is accessed.
• Communications: the content of support or privacy requests and the contact details you use to reach us.

Passwords are processed for authentication and stored only in a one-way hashed form by our application. Authentication tokens are used to maintain sessions and may be revoked or allowed to expire.

3. Sources of information

We receive information directly from you when you register, change settings or contact us; automatically from your interaction with the Service; and from public or commercial market-information providers used to populate reference prices and charts. Market information is generally requested by our service and is not intended to identify you.

4. How we use information

We use information where reasonably necessary to:

• create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in;
• save preferences, favorites, learning progress and simulation history;
• calculate and display simulated balances, positions and exercise results;
• provide reference market information, lessons, quizzes and service messages;
• protect accounts, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors and maintain reliability;
• respond to support, privacy and legal requests;
• enforce our User Agreement and comply with applicable obligations; and
• understand aggregate service performance and improve existing features.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where specifically requested. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the applicable basis.

5. Device permissions, cookies and tracking

The current iOS application does not require access to contacts, precise location, camera, microphone or the photo library for account registration or simulated trading. The Service is not designed around third-party advertising and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The website may use essential browser storage or similar technology only when needed for security, preferences or core functionality. If a future feature requires a new device permission or non-essential tracking technology, we will provide an appropriate explanation or choice before use where required.

6. When information may be shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose limited information to:

• Infrastructure and technical providers that host, transmit, secure or support the Service under appropriate contractual or confidentiality obligations;
• Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse or establish and defend legal claims;
• Business transaction participants in connection with a proposed merger, financing, reorganization or transfer, subject to suitable confidentiality protections; and
• Other parties at your direction or with your valid consent.

Reference market providers may receive technical server requests needed to retrieve market information. We do not intentionally send them your account email or simulation history for that purpose.

7. International processing

Our infrastructure and service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those locations may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use contractual, organizational or other recognized safeguards for cross-border processing.

8. Retention

We retain account, preference, learning and simulation information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, maintain security or meet legal obligations. Session and refresh-token records expire or are revoked as part of normal authentication operations. Support correspondence and security logs may be kept for a reasonable period based on their purpose.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete it, de-identify it or securely isolate it until deletion is possible. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten through ordinary backup cycles.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport, access controls, password hashing and limited-lifetime authentication credentials. You should use a unique password and protect access to your device and email account.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe your EORMCEXC account or credentials have been compromised.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of or a portable copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.

To submit a request, email linkja@kuochiaotrading.cyou from the address associated with your account and describe the request. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting. Rights may be limited where an exception applies, including security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or the rights of others. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

11. Account deletion and practice resets

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information through the support email above. Resetting a practice account only restores simulated balances and clears certain simulation records; it is not the same as deleting your EORMCEXC account.

After a verified deletion request, we will delete or de-identify information linked to the account unless retention is reasonably necessary or legally required. Once completed, account data and simulation progress may not be recoverable.

12. Children and younger users

The Service is not directed to children who are below the minimum age at which they can consent to online data processing in their location. A user who cannot lawfully consent or enter into the User Agreement must not create an account without authorization from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child provided information without valid authorization, contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Policy as the Service, law or our practices change. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. When required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a material change takes effect.
